Tomer Or





Tomer started fencing at the age of eight and has been a professional fencer for twenty-four years. He is a 10 time Israel Senior National Champion, participated in 17 Cadet, Junior and Senior World Championships in addition to the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China. 
Tomer is the 1998 Junior World Champion (Valencia, Venezuala) and Silver Medalist in 1994 (Mexico City, Mexico). He won gold medals in four Senior World Cups-Budapest 2002, Copenhagen 2005, Vancouver 2006, and Havana 2007 in addition to medaling in many other Junior and Senior World Cups.
Tomer received his coaching diploma from Wingate Institute for Physical Education and Sport from Netanya, Israel in 2005. He also had a LL.B in Law and Business from the Interdisciplinary Center Hretzliya. 
He started his coaching career 2005 at the Haifa Fencing Club in Israel where he was coaching beginner classes as well as the clubs Cadet team. Tomer was working under the supervision of his coach Udi Carmi who was fourth in the Senior World Championship of 1987 in Louzanne, Switzerland.
